Have you created an itinerary using the Alpaca itinerary builder but are not sure how to get the itineraries displaying in your Locale Guide? Here are instructions to ensure your itinerary is visible:
Have you tagged your map?
- Go to the itinerary builder and find the itinerary map you created.
- On the right side, look for the ‘Classifications’ section and expand it.
- Click the pencil icon next to ‘Categorise’.
- A new window will pop up. Scroll down until you see the ‘Tags’ field.
- Type the tag ‘itineraries’ into this field (all lowercase).
- Click save.
Have you published you map?
- A draft map won’t show in your guide.
- Once you're done editing your map, make sure to click the ‘Publish’ button.
Wait and Check
- Your Locale Guide refreshes daily. So, after following the above steps, your itinerary map should show up in your guide within 24 hours.
- If you've just added your map, it might not be visible immediately. Give it some time, and then check again.
Note: This is only relevant to users who have a Locale Guide. To find out more about an Alpaca Locale Guide, read here.
