You've signed up, but the confirmation / verification email hasn't arrived in your inbox. What should you do?
Here are a few steps to help you troubleshoot the issue:
- Check Your Email: The verification email has the subject line 'Alpaca Travel - Confirmation Code' and is sent from Alpaca Travel (sayhello@alpaca.travel).
- Check Your Spam/Junk Folder: The first thing to do is to check your spam or junk folder in your email account. Sometimes, legitimate emails can end up in these folders by mistake. Look for an email from "sayhello@alpaca.travel," as this is the sender's address.
- Email Blocked by Administrator Settings: If you don't find the verification email in your spam or junk folder, it's possible that your email system administrator settings are preventing the email from reaching your inbox. This can happen if the administrator has set up strict filters or rules for incoming emails. In such cases, we recommend reaching out to your IT team or email system administrator to inquire about the blocking of verification emails. They will be able to assist you in adjusting the settings to allow these emails to come through.
Please note: The password reset process is managed by Amazon Cognito, a service we use for user authentication and security. Any issues with email delivery are typically related to the email system rather than our platform directly.
